Hi everyone,
Can anyone encountered this behavior of Outlook 2013? When you sorted by column (Sender, Subject, Size, Received, etc) the selected message jump at the bottom instead of at the top.
We have a very strange problem with an outlook profile after changing a users surname in active directory and exchange 2013, the user is on outlook 2010 and a roaming profile.
What happens is outlook will find the users details with the correct new name and all looks good, but then once you close and reopen outlook the profile name changes to her old surname. The email and everything stays updated and when she sends an email it appears updated it's just annoying for the user that it shows her old name for her above her inbox.
We have tried totally remove her profile/pst and re-adding, recreating her folder for roaming profile, checking over all her exchange/AD settings, setting up outlook manually and it still has the same issues and we're out of ideas.
Is anyone able to help us please?
We are sharing a Public Calendar with a user by pushing the data from the Public Calendar to a sub calendar under the user's calendar in Outlook 2013 (via Exchange 2010 and CodeTwo Exchange Sync). We would like to make this sub calendar read only to the user. Is any way to make this calendar read only so the user can view the entries but not change them?

Hi everybody,
After moved mailbox from Exchange 2010 to 2013 database some clients get this error which use POP3 account;
"Task user@domain.com - receiving reported error (0x800CC90) : Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error"
They can send and receive email successfully but after send-receive process the error appear.
-The error just on same departman clients, others can work smoothly.
- Client can access to exchange server on required ports.
- No mistake on outlook configuration.
- there is no firewall or antivirus software on clients.
I need help about it.
Regards.
Hello,
We have recently upgraded from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 CU2. When a user's password expires and they login to OWA, the system allows them to change the password. However, Exchange 2013 OWA requires them to use the format 'DOMAIN\username' and it will not except just the username or username@domain.com. This was not an issue in Exchange 2010.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?
Thank you
We've been experiencing a few problems in OWA with devices where people have upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 and 8.1
For example, the calendar does not display any events, nor does it display any shared calendars on the left hand side.
Admittedly, we are still on Exchange 2013 SP1 mainly because we are in a 2007 mixed environment and CU6 would give us more than a few headaches.
Having looked through the KB articles for CU5 and CU6, there doesn't seem to be anything that would directly relate to changes to the rendering that could alleviate this problem.
Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know if either of the CUs would resolve the issue?
Thanks
Andy
Hello,
I recently migrated to Exchange 2013, autodiscover.domain.com and mail.domain.com are pointing to CAS 2013 for external and internal access. For EX013 users, Outlook establishes connection with both CAS 2010 and CAS 2013 which is fine. For EX2010 users, Outlook establishes the connection only with CAS 2010 for both internal and external access. My understanding is that CAS 2013 should proxy the connection to CAS 2010, but it doesn't and also after the migration I have to remove and add the profile again for the changes to take effect for the migrated users. I haven't changed the namespaces, its the same. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I come across these two folders constantly when seeing the Microsoft Exchange server externally (other folders are usually /owa/, /powershell/ and /ecp/.
I've looked everywhere online I can think of but cannot find an easy-to-understand description that clearly understands it.
I notice that both folders are blocked by login boxes which are usually either Basic or NTLM authentication, why is this? Should they be hidden completely from external access?
Any help will be much appreciated, this is also my first post so apologies for any conventions I've missed.
Outlook 2013, Windows 7 running on Exchange 2013 (office365).
I create a Search folder with a simple criteria. "from xyz@abc.com". This search folder shows emails that meet the criteria and that are in inbox and any other folder that I have created myself but not when the Folder is a system folder. If I move one of these emails that match the criteria to Deleted Items folder, then that email is not shown in Search folder.
Can someone try this also and let me know if this issue is unique to me?
Regards
Greetings,
A UAE company just opened an office in our country (Company.com), they are using Exchange 2010, so the HQ's IT team in UAE just created another domain for us to access our email which is(OurCompany.com), The IT Team instruct us to use OWA for the first time using:https://webmail.company.com/owa.
The username will be : user1@ourcompany.com / password: ******
So as you see, we are using their OWA (https://webmail.company.com/owa) to log into our domain(OurCompany.com)
FYI,
Could you please explain this scenario ?
Thanks in advance.

Good day all,
I'm experiencing an issue with outlook and the Junk sitting in the inbox folder until the user is logged in.
I have access to one of my colleagues inboxes and when I got to the in Inbox it's full of spam e-mails. To solve this I have to log my colleague into their computer and then launch outlook. This then moves the junk automatically into the Junk folder.
I've tried creating a new outlook profile for them, still happening.
I've deleted them off of the exchange server (In Exchange and AD) and then re-added them with a different username. Doesn't work.
It's not a firewall issue either as I don't have the issue and neither do any other of my colleagues. I can log onto the same PC that he uses and my Outlook is fine.
If you require any more information, I'll help the best I can.
Thanks,
MrWoodward.

Hello technet folks!
I migrated some accounts from Gmail Entreprise to Exchange 2013 on premise.
Migration went pretty well .. I migrated 10 boxes by dumping PST with Outlook 2013 and google apps sync and reinjected the PST in Exchange account.
Everybody got his old emails from Gmail in Exchange ... MX zone is migrated, they can received and send email correctly.
However, they have a weird issue when answering to a mail they received BEFORE the migration from Gmail to Exchange. The mail is here, and when they click on "answering", the destination email does not exist anymore. Actually, the name of destination is here but not his email address. The vcard of the destination got the name, but all other information are empty (phone, company, email address). So if they send the mail, it will be bounced back ... with error '550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found'. If they replace the name with the real email address, then it works.
Any idea why, during the migration the email address of each mail is not kept in its body ?
Any help appreciated !
Greg

Hi there,
We recently experienced troubles using Outlook Web Access with Chrome (Version 38.0.2125.101 m), everything worked perfectly fine until last friday.
Since then, the calendar page shows an empty grid (even if user has upcoming events), and the user-list located on the left doesn't show.
A thorough check was made on users workstations: disabling chrome extensions, clearing cache and cookies, incognito mode test. Still the same
I wanted to join an example screenshot but it won't let me.
Available if any further info is needed to help me,
Best regards,
Benoît H.
I am working in Outlook 2010 on an exchange server. I have delegate rights to my manager's contacts. I can see them, edit/add when I click on Contacts and choose his mailbox. However, when I compose an email and click the To; field to get to the address book I cannot see or search for contacts or distrib lists in his contact. I can only see my own. Can someone tell me how I can view his contacts from here?
Thanks.
