Exchange 2013 and Outlook 2013 - Operation Failed

I have thefollowing situationin my environment:

I migratedsomemailboxesfromexchange2007 to Exchange2013andam facing problemto sende-amailwith logos,signatures andformat type.

Receiveexternalemailscontainingtablesprobablycopiedfrom anexceldocumentandrespond toe-mailthemessage"OperationFailed"occurs.

The emailis sent onlyto removethe formattingor chooserich textoption.HTMLis notpossibleto send.

Please helpme!Migration stoppedbecauseof this problem.

Error 550 5.7.1 unable to relay with SMTP PORT 25 Exchange 2013

Hi All,

I know this issue has been posted for a while, but still can't resolved issue. We've new Exchange 2013 SP1 (CU4) installation, everything is working properly, the OWA, Exchange Client Connection, SMTP/POP with SSL, except with SMTP Using Port 25 Non-Encrypted Connection.  

If I'm using the SMTP Port 25 without TICK "My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires authentication", I've got the error: "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay", but if I TICK the option above, my message will be deliver without any error, how do i get rid this problem, I need to UN-TICK the option above for the time being, since we've hundreds email account, I want to avoid to educate and tell the user and even remote their PC, just to configure this issue, it will drive me crazy, we're going to use the Exchange Client Connection in the future, If everything is smooth and ok.

I research this problem on the Internet and of course with TECHNET, but still can't, anyone can help me on this?

fyi, I tried so many things, delete the default the Default Front End Transport for Port 25, it also not fix my issue.

Spam not being delivered to JunkMail Folder

We just migrated from Exchange 2010 to 2013. Somewhere in the process Spam has quit going to my JunkMail folder. I am using Outlook 2013.

We have a transport rule in Exchange 2013

Move EOP Detected Spam (SFV:SPM) to Junk Email Folder
If the message...
'X-Forefront-Antispam-Report' header contains ''SFV:SPM''
Do the following...
Set the spam confidence level (SCL) to '6'
Rule mode
Enforce
Additional properties
Sender address matches: Header

Version: 14.0.0.0

Our Organization SclJunkThreshold is set to 4

When I look at the header of a Spam email in my Inbox the X-Forefront-Antispam-Report: contains SFV:SPM and X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SCL: 6

I have set my Outlook Junk settings to Low, High and No Automatic Filtering and nothing will go into the Junk Mail folder.

I have removed and re-installed Outlook. Nothing I have tried will work.

Any ideas what might be the problem.

How can I access full Exchange email features on iOS and android?

I currently use a virtual exchange server (2010) in conjunction with outlook 2007. I have several distribution groups set up so I can send from different email addresses through a single exchange server mailbox. This works fine on windows pcs. Unfortunately I have not found a way of accessing this full exchange functionality on either my android phone or my iPad. Neither the stock mail apps nor any third party mail apps I have tried support the use of distribution group From fields. Worse, the Outlook Web App that is fully featured on my windows pcs (where I don't need it) for some reason becomes a light version when accessed on an iPad air or android phone. The light version does not support From fields at all, whether distribution group based or not. I have tried using safari and dolphin and OWA always defaults to and won't let me change from the feature crippled light version.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can access Exchange's changeable From fields on iPad or Android phone?

Exchange 2013 CU6 causing ECP 500 Unexpected Error

Hello,

After upgrading to CU6  administrator cannot log into ECP but it can access OWA. All other Exchange 2013 user can access OWA and ECP but the administrator can only access OWA and not ECP which gives a 500 Unexpected Error.

 I do iisreset /noforce and found error:

Exchange 2007 to 2013 migration problems with outlook running on Windows server 2003 SP2

We are in the process of migrating from exchange 2007 to 2013. Coexistence is all set up, mail flow, migrations, all this is working fine. The issue is we are using Windows 2003 servers set up for use with Citrix. When we migrate a user mailbox to 2013, whenever Outlook (2010--latest patches) is launched we immediately get a "problem with the proxy server security certificate error code 0" error message and can progress no further.  We get this whether launching Outlook directly on the 2003 server or from the citrix implementation of Outlook.  That user can use any other desktop or OS and does not have any issues whatsoever.  I do not believe it is a cirix problem rather a OS problem running Outlook on a Windows 2003 server (SP2).  Anyone seen this issue or give me any troubleshooting steps.

I want to configure outlook anywhere for exchange organization, I have 2 accepted domains: domain1.com and domain2.com, can you guide me the best practice procedure to enable it? How many certificates? What are the SANs sghould be included in the certificate? And how to publish it?

Installed New-ExchangeCertificate, OWA no longer functions.

Hello,


A colleague of mine installed a new certificate overnight that they weren't supposed to on our CAS server.  This unfortunately broke access to OWA.  I had him remove the newly installed certificate and our original certs remain however we are unable to access OWA.  Restarting services did not resolve this issue.  Does anyone have any advice?  Thank you for your time.

OWA 2013 To Use Theme Similar To OWA 2010 Premium

We have migrated to OWA 2013 and some users are fine with the new OWA interface and some wanted the old OWA 2010 Premium interface (especially executives) is there a way we can use OWA 2010 Premium as a Theme in Exchange 2013 so users can choose a UI Preference. We added the OWA 2013 Light selection but doesn't served the requirement because of OWA Light email compose is in Plain Text we wanted OWA 2010 Premium to include HTML message formatting (Ex. Set fonts, size, color etc. Mailbox Paging, Select All Checkbox etc.)

Exchange 2013 OWA page blank after login

When logging into the OWA from *most* browsers (Chrome, firefox, Opera) OWA does not show up, just shows a blank page with the proper website title. OWA works fine on my mac with safari.

This is a picture of the network option in chrome development console, so there is data/files getting transferred..

This issue is leaving me dumbfounded because:
1. Everything works as expected in safari on my mac.
2. OWA worked fine a few days ago and I made no changes since then.



I have tried re-creating the SSL certificate with netsh, removing and creating a new OwaVirtualDirectory and disabling/enabling OWA on my account.

Exchange 3013 SP1 OWA copy-paste

Hello. We have Exchange 2013 SP1, and some users use OWA instead os Outlook. They are using windows 7/8.1 fully update with IE11. When they try to copy-paste a screen shot to an email in OWA the can't. Paste is disabled. Using Firefox they can paste but the recipient receives a part of the screenshot. Using Chrome copy-paste works fine.

Is it possible not to be able to use IE with a microsoft product? Is this a known bug? Any solution or a possible date?

New outlook install not showing all email histories for some users

Hello,

I recently installed outlook 2013 on a windows 8 machine connected to exchange. I noticed it is not showing all the email histories for a particular user.  Is there an index that needs to be rebuilt or something?  Some users it shows a bunch emails for others it only shows one or two.  Thanks in advance.

OWA 2010 not receiving some emails

The environment where I work uses Cisco IronPort to scan emails and then send them on or reject them.  I have spoken with Cisco Support and they have found that the IronPort is sending the emails once scanned on to OWA which seems to occasionally not accept the messages.  Is there a specific spot where I should start to find out why this is happening?

Meeting changed dates randomly

I have a situation were a user had created a meeting on her Mac using Outlook 2011 and sent it to multiple users shortly after, the meeting which was scheduled for Wednesday through Thursday, was changed to Thursday through Friday.  The user who initially created the meeting deleted it from the calendar and had another user remake the meeting.  After the meeting was remade and sent out it showed up at the correct time for a while and has recently changed again from Wednesday through Thursday to Thursday through Friday.  All of the users have the correct time set on their machines and their time zones are correct, what else could be causing this to happen?

How to get flagged messages in to tasks or alternatively view another users to do list.

If someone could just help me out I would be extremely appreciative.

2 of us work in one mail box together called admin. when one of us is away we like to use the flags to create follow ups for each other on certain email items.

Firstly, I can only see my main accounts to do list

Secondly, when I flag a contact / message / anything in fact, in any mailbox it only appears in their respective to do lists and not in their tasks. Thus I cannot see what I have flagged for them at a glance as I can not find a way to view other peoples to do list. i.e. neither of us can see any of the flags in the shared mailbox we use (admin) unless we log in under a different profile, which is troublesome as it takes way to long to switch back and forth.

I presently use colour categories to delegate who is currently in charge of answering certain emails and use custom flags to note what we are waiting for in particular to a certain email and then mark a tick when it has been dealt with. Simple system but not currently working in full due to the follow up flags not appearing in tasks.

This also affects my task synching on my mobile where once again it only shows what is in tasks... i.e stuff I have physically typed in outlook rather than flagged content; mails, contacts etc.

Any ideas how to get the follow up flags appearing in tasks or an ability to see other peoples to do lists... the first is more preferable but I will take what I can.

Public Folder assistant Mail notifications not working on adding event.

Currently on Exchange 2013, have Mail enabled public folders and inside them are Shared Calendars users use to book appointments/resources etc. Previously on exchange 2007 using Folder assistant we were able to setup rule to forward the events/items added by any user to set of users, but same feature (email notification when adding event to shared public calendar) is not working.

Went into the properties of the Shared Calendar, clicked on folder assistant and setup the rules for that particular calendar.

There seems to be no email notifications received. Has that feature been axed in 2013 exchange ? Is there a way to get similar feature even if we have to use other method instead ?

Unable to open attachement in OWA 2010

We have exchange 2010 , CAS/MBX/HUB all on one server. All was working fine until 1st issue reported that owa is not working with webmail.company.com  and it was fixed. but now OWA users are unable to open any attachment. error received is page cannot be displayed. when trying to open attachement it redirects to URL https:// webmail.company.com /attachement.ashx ...x.....x...x and after a while page cannot be displayed error comes.

Any suggestion please.

Unable to search To-Do List

I have an issue where users cannot search their To-Do list using Outlook 2013 (15.0.4569.1503 64-bit) which are on an Exchange 2013 (v15.0.995.29). The users have no problem with using our terminal server which (due to other software requirements) is restricted to Outlook 2010 (14.0.7128.5000 32-bit). The versions indicated here aren't really that important, as our users have always had access to searching To-Do from Outlook 2010 through the many updates, but never on Outlook 2013 again through any updates.

As an aside, I have tried with the 32-bit version of Outlook 2013 and this did not work.

These are currently installed on Windows 8.1, but I have the same issue on Windows 8 and Windows 7.

I have rebuild search indexes on the exchange server. I have created new databases and moved the mailbox.

This is happening for all our users.

The MVPs over at Outlook suggest this is an Exchange issue. Does anyone have any suggestions???
