OWA SSO problem after installing Exchange 2013 CU1
Hello,
I have Exchange 2013 environment on Win2k12.
Exchange 2013 CU1 - Mailbox server
Exchange 2013 CU1 - CAS server
before upgrading to CU1, I configured the OwaVirtualDirectory and EcpVirtualDirectory with BasicAuthentication to False and my clients had SSO to OWA.
But after the upgrade to CU1, my clients do not have SSO and cannot even logon until I change the BasicAuthentication to True.
What have been changed in CU1 that causing this issue?
Regards.
Unable to Delete Profile from outlook 2013
Ok, I put in the wrong information and would like to delete that profile and start over (seeing that editing it did not work)
control -> mail -> choose profile -> remove You cannot delete this outlook profile, configuration information in the file is being copied to you new default file. you can delete the file after this information is copied.
One there is no new data file just the default when I try to remove that one "the default data file cannot be removed, because it is your default delivery location. After you have selected a different default delivery location you current file can be remove.
Changed the location same erro
created another data file same error. I am trying to find a way to do this without uninstalling outlook and reinstalling

New Mail Notification (Envelope icon in taskbar) does not go away
This behavior causes a lot of false positives when reading emails on two machines.
Note: I raised this issue on the MS community forums and they were able to reproduce it. I have added the link below. I am posting it here based on feedback I received there.

Exchange 2013 - Forms Based Auth and Integrated Auth
Can someone please direct me to a proper tutorial on how to enable both integrated Auth and Forms based Auth on my Exchange 2013 OWA?
I am in need of enabling domain users straight through auth for OWA and allow forms based auth for non domain computers.
Alternate mailbox: Logon Network Security
I have a bunch of users that don't have mailboxes, but are scripted to have a mailbox load when they open outlook. All worked fine with Exchange 2010, but it's not working in 2013. The only way it will work is if logon network security is set to anonymous (see below). I can't seem to find any GPO setting or anything to make that happen when they load their profile, and I can't go around to 100+ people who work various shifts to manually set this for them. Anyone know a way to do this?
Additional Info: They're logging onto the computers with an alternate domain, so DOMAIN2\username instead of DOMAIN1\username. It's using name mappings in their AD account to link them. There's definitely some kerberos issue going on that it's not passing along this info, but since I know changing the logon network security works, I'll do that until I can figure out the bigger issue.
Arriving emails show as draft
We have Exchange and Outlook 2013 with a cluster of 2 servers connected via VPN. Clients are connected to servers via LAN DNS.
Most emails arriving in an inbox are quickly converted to a draft message, showing the "From" as the actual sender.
There is not much on this error, but from what I gather, it's likely the message is being modified somewhere because at the top of the email it says "This is the most recent version, but you made changes to another copy. Click here to see the other versions." when in fact there have been no changes, or has the email even been opened.
I checked the mailbox rules, nothing there.
I checked the delegation and permissions, nobody has permissions except the Exchange Server and the Exchange Trusted Subsystem. No other issues are reported by other users.
This problem is frequent, but intermittent. Doesn't seem to be happening when Outlook is closed.
I removed and added a new Outlook profile, problem still exists.
Any ideas?
Dismiss Reminders not working on multiple accounts
Hi there.
We are on Exchange 2013 Server Standard using Outlook 07, 10 and 13 on Windows XP and 7 workstations connecting via Exchange (not POP, IMAP, etc) with Encryption enabled and HTTP.
Clients are all having the same issue. They must hit Dismiss on appointments multiple times, sometimes more than twice. I've tried /cleanreminders with no luck, as well as turning off Cachced mode and recreated Profiles. I've also made sure that each user has only one data file entry, although all data is stored on the server.
Thanks.

issues with outlook 2013
Every time I attempt to open outlook 2013 I get an error message stating "The connection to Microsoft exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to internet to complete action." This is getting very frustrating for me and I have no clue how to even attempt to correct it so if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it..
Thanks,

Cannot answer messages properly in OWA
Exchange 2013 CU1.
I cannot create replies to some messages in my mailbox using OWA. When I click "Reply" or "Reply to all" link, OWA opens empty new e-mail form. Fields "To" and "Subject" are not filled, and there are nothing except my signature in message body as if I clicked "New message".
Only certain messages in my Inbox behave in such a way. I can reply to other messages properly. I also can reply properly to those messages using standalone Outlook 2013. That behavior is not related to message size (I have the issue with both short and long messages).
I've tried IE 9 and 10 along with Chrome and three or four different machines. With every browser and every machine I get the same result.
Until now I've got no similar complains from other users, so this could be a problem with my personal mailbox obly. On the other hand, this Exchange installation is relatively new, so users simply might have not encountered it yet.
Any ideas?
Outlook 2003 profile doesn't work on one PC but on other PC work just fine
My client, she has Outlook 2003 SP3 on Win XP SP3, and she was able to work fine until last week. I have created her profile on my PC and it worked fine and also I tried a test-user it was the same way. I was wondering any other steps I have to take ?
Thank you in advance
Outlook connects twice to OAB and keeps asking password.
I have many Outlook clients (2007 and 2010) with the password prompt at every startup.
I saw that Outlook receives email also without login, and so I checked the connection status with outlook.exe /rcpdiag.
The connection status window shows two connection to OAB with the same server name and the same proxy. In working clients (where password is not prompted) I checked that Outlook connects to OAB once.
Can be useful to say that my Exchange 2013 server comes from an hard migration from Exchange 2010 and I think some clients are still looking for the old OAB, however the connection status shows the correct server name. Moreover I can not understand why some clients had no problems.
Thank you for you help.

UAG SP3 or TMG for Exchange Publishing
as Exchange 2013 is now supported with UAG SP3, is this better to use UAG rather than using TMG for new deployments..if yes.. is there any configuration available on technet for Publishing Exchange 2013 using UAG....any experience share will be highly appreciated...
Thanks..
Delegate needs to receive notification when owner deletes an outlook meeting -- Outlook 2010 Settings
Any suggesitions on how a delegate might receive notification when the owner deletes an outlook meeting?
Example: The delegate sends a meeting invitation from the owner's calendar and it's accepted by the required attendee. The owner deletes a meeting invitation from the owner's calendar and the delegate is unaware the item has been deleted. The delegate needs to be notitified systematically or automatically when the owner makes changes to the calendar--especially when an item is deleted. Is there a setting or procedure to allow this type of notification?
