found this thread from earlier this year describing a problem with using OWA in Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10 with the S/MIME control installed. I am having the same issue, and posted
in that thread. I was referred here by a Microsoft employee.
I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my personal computer. I am using Outlook Web Access for DoD Enterprise Email on Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10. I have all available updates installed
including the most recent cumulative update, 2017-08.
Before I installed the OWA SMIME control, all OWA functions worked normally. After I installed the SMIME control, when I open emails the message body does not display, and I cannot type
in the message body. I also cannot view digitally signed emails that I have received. I can still modify the To, CC, and Subject fields.
When I open OWA on Google Chrome, everything works normally (minus the S/MIME functions, of course, which are not supported in Chrome).
This seems to be a known issue in OWA, at least based on the thread I linked to above. Is there something I need to do to my computer for the S/MIME control to work? I need to be able
to access the encryption and digital signature functions via OWA.
Thank you.
