Forgot .pst password in Outlook
Windows Security, Microsoft Outlook, Connecting To pop up domain/username is not implied for new users Outlook 2013 Exchange 2010
We have an issue when a new user logs onto a computer and begins the process of setting up Outlook 2013, they are prompted for username and password after the autoconfiguration part recognizes their domain credential and auto fills the email address. The only way around is to input the username as Domain\Username and enter the password. Can we get around this by just having them type in the username without the Domain prefix? How can this be implied?

Appointments fall in Junk
I have an Exchange 2013 CU 20, one of users has an issue.. When she creates a meeting request in Outlook 2013 and other users accept it, her request moves to Junk mail and meeting removes from Calendar. I've already checked her rules, checked her Junk settings in Outlook and everything looks fine. One month ago i created a new mailbox for user but the issue returned. No one else has this problem. Can anybody help me to understand what is going on? :)

Is there a way to identify which calendar event is causing this sync error. For the last few days I have been getting dozens of these sync errors.
Outlook Client won't Mails
Dear ,
i am now in the phase of migrating mailboxes from exch2013 to 2016.
i moved till now around 300 mailboxes, some users around 10 faced a problem of opening outlook client. an error message says"couldn't start outlook", i solved this issue by creating a new profile for the user and connect the Archive files to it again(.pst). i have 2 questions :
1-why outlook couldn't start after the migration.and is there any other solution than creating a new profile?
2-one user moved has a strange issue, the outlook open fine after the migration but there no synchronization between folder, when deleting an email from inbox it stay there, when going to deleted you will find there also, going back to the inbox you see it is gone. same when delete the email from the deleted item, it doesn't dissapear until you go to inbox and go back to the deletd item. same when you move email from the mailbox to archive, the mail still appears in the mailbox until you to the archive you will find there and dissapear when back to the inbox, how to solve this it is very annoying.
thanks and regards ,

Email stuck in Outbox
Outlook auto-send/receive unchecking itself
Newly installed Office 365/2016.
On my home computer, I have an exchange account (from work) and a personal POP account.
In the exchange account, when I check the "schedule an automatic ..." then do a send/receive (or restart outlook), the checkbox becomes unchecked. The send/receive schedule is set to 10 minutes.
I do not have cached exchange mode selected.
The POP account does not exhibit this problem.
I had same problem with Outlook 365/2013 at home, but do not have this problem on my work machine (Outlook 2013).
Ideas?
thanks
Kevin

Adding Global Contacts to "Contacts" gives error in Outlook 2010 connected to Exchange 2013
We now have problems right clicking on recipients in e-mails in Outlook 2010 and adding these to the Contacts list.
In doing so we get a Message something like the following in a yellow popup:
"Unable to process the specified command. The selected command is not valid for this recipient.
Unable to add contact to contacts. The connection to microsoft Exchange is not available. Outlook need to be available or connected to use this feature. "
I used to be able to add contacts myself this way until last week, when i was troubleshooting and found an article online saying this problem could happen if Outlook was running in SAFEMODE permanently.
http://www.dptechgroup.com/microsoft-outlook-email/how-to-disable-safe-mode-in-outlook-2010-with-registry-settings/
I found out that you could add the key DisableSafeMode = 1 in registry to force Outlook to not be in SafeMode, and this might fix the issue. For me, it actually did the oposite. And when i now try to remove the registry key it is still not possible to add contacts
anymore.
But other users have not done anything like this, and none of them are able to add INTERNAL global address list contacts by right-clicking on them and selecting to add them to Outlook contacts from the "TO" or "FROM" fields.
Here are some facts:
Client: Outlook 2010
Server: Exchange 2013
Problem: Right clicking on recipients and selecting "Add to outlook contacts" give error message.
Workaround, but not optimal: Right clicking contacts, selecting "Options for Outlook" for the given user, successfully pulls AD info, and pressing "ADD TO CONTACTS" then works.
Problem follows users to Virtual desktops, Terminal servers, deletion of roaming profiles, deletion of outlook configured accounts and terminal cache.
System administrators claim this has nothing to do with Exchange servers.
I suspect it has something to do with maybe Group Policies or Exchange server blocking the "lookup" requests from Outlook to fetch global address list information directly, but alas i am not sure.
The problem is not present on the Exchange OWA(webmail) since it does not use the same fetch-of-info as Outlook 2010 does.
The problem does not occur using Outlook 2016.
Was redirected here from the GROUP POLICY forum since they insisted this was not Group Policy related, maybe the Exchange folks know?
