When I am viewing the votes on the Tracking Tab of an email, the F10 does not work to activate the menu. When I am looking at the Message, it works just fine (i.e. F10-F-P to print), however on the Tracking Tab, F10 does nothing. Is this a bug?
Does this work for anyone? (Outlook 2010 on Windows 7)
(I am not sure what version of Exchange Server my company uses, so please let me know if this looks like it is out of place. I was referred to this forum by a Microsoft Support Engineer.)
The issue originated due to security-Kerberos error occurred in CAS-1 server and CAS-2
server
The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server cas-2.The target name used was http/Exch-cas-vp02-test.co.in. this indicates that the target server failed to decrypt the ticket provided by the client. This can occur when the target server principal name (SPN) is registered on an account other than the account the traget service is using. ensure that the target SPN is only registered on the account used by the server . this error can also happen if the target service account password is different that what is configured on the kerberos key distribution centre for that target service account than what the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC) has for the target service account. Please ensure that the service on the server and the KDC are both updated to use the current password. If the server name is not fully qualified, and the target domain (DOMAIN.LOCAL) is different from the client domain (DOMAIN.LOCAL), check if there are identically named server accounts in these two domains, or use the fully-qualified name to identify the server.
Intro: I got the impression that in 365 I had to use the Exchange version of email in order to begin setup of my comcast account. So I did:
I used to have categories of special folders with "groups" for certain purposes in my contacts under the pst system. I see no way to do this in 365. When I look at contacts under the ost system it is completely cryptic to me and seems not to bare any relationship to the pst version. It will not sort properly etc. This is my first shot at the Exchange version.
I am using Office 2016 Desktop Outlook on win 10. I have it connected to the corporate exchange server and I have over 1800 contacts. Recently, when I add new contacts, the new contacts do not appear in the contact list nor do they appear in search results (These contacts also do not appear in the OWA). At the same time when I browse or search for the contact on my iPhone (phone contact list) and iPhone Outlook App, the contacts are available. Also when I try to make the same contact for the second time, I get the duplicate check form. This shows that the contact is saved in the database.
How can I solve the contact search problem?
Note that I do not have this problem with older contacts.
I tried all the methods described in the internet for repairing the Outlook index. Nothing changed.
I have not turned on "Save Contacts to Device" on my iPhone Outlook App.
Hello,
Recently i has a cross forest migrate exchange 2010 to exchange 2016, both versions is up.
All services are ok, but when i try share the calendar for migrated users in new domain, i had a error in outlook (permission denied), in OWA the share is ok.

after applying cu 12 on one of two cas-servers (the other servers are running cu10), logon to ecp and owa is not working anymore via patched cas Server.Using the unpatched cas with cu10 everything is working fine.
Login is done via wap and adfs 3.
Eventlog on store-Server Shows: when trying to connect via cas Server cu12 version

Hello Everyone,
I have a user who is attempting to send to a DL they created in Outlook. This DL has more than 150 recipients in it. When they draft the message the DL name is in the To field. However when they send they get a bounce back stating "This message wasn't delivered to anyone because there are too many recipients. The limit is 150. This message has 156 recipients.".
While looking at the message in the Sent items folder it show all the recipients in the To field instead of the DL name that they originally put in.
The 150 limit is on the amount of recipients in the To field correct? A DL should only count as one recipient?
"A distribution group is counted as a single recipient during message submission"
Thanks for any info...
We are rung Exchange 2013 SP11. We have 3 MB servers in a DAG and 3 CAS servers loads balanced for our web services. The CAS are not configured as Edge Servers be cause we have a third party gateway that handles smtp traffic to and from the MB servers. At least once a day we will recieve the following alert. The CAS servers have one nic that is bound to 2 IP addresses one for the web services (OWA) and one for internal traffic. The nic is not configured to register in DNS. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
we have Exchange 2013 organization, Server FQDN is server.internal.local, so we use Split DNS configuration. SSL Certificate is from 3rd party provider, IIS, SMTP, POP, IMAP services are assigned to it.
There is also self signed certificated, with server fqdn and nebios name, which was installed by default, and it has SMTP service assiged to it.
We need to use POP3 and IMAP. Everything works fine, but when using secure SMTP for outgoing server (port 25, TLS), i got response from self sign certificate, although 3rd party SSL is installed.
How can i enforce 3rd party certificate to be used for TLS? Server FQDN is from local, non routable domain, i can't assign server fqdn on 3rd party certificate. Can i use TLS without server FQDN on certificate?
Hi,
Exchange 2013 is up & running. I have some users who's having issue with outlook not responding on the particular site. Outlook is constantly locked up during reading an email and accessing calendar. Outlook get freeze and stuck for some seconds after that they are able to send the email. It happening frequently with them. I have done all the solution what I can think of, if any one from the community can tell me more that would be really appreciative.
Troubleshooting Steps.
I'm having problems syncing Outlook's Views between the Outlook client and Outlook Exchange. (Problem replicated on three machines. Using Office 365, Outlook 2013 on one machine, Outlook 2016 on two machines.)
When I run Outlook, without being in the Cached Exchange Mode, and make any custom changes to Views (in the inbox, tasks, etc.), those views will eventually get propagated down to my Outlook client in Cached Exchange Mode, but not always. Also, the reverse is "not" true: Modifying a custom view in Outlook running in Cached Exchange Mode does not necessarily result in those changes syncing back up to the Exchange Server. Would anyone know why?
I've done a lot of testing on this and I can fully replicate the problem. The only way I've been able to ensure that the custom Views I've created get properly propagated back to an Outlook client running in Cached Exchange Mode is to create a new e-mail profile and when it syncs up with the server, it grabs the Views off the server and replicates them on to the client. Sometimes, the client's views will get fully updated, sometimes not fully so.
However, if I make some changes to those views on the Outlook client running in Cached Exchange Mode, those changes will not always sync back up to Exchange.
The Office Technet Forum suggests I reset the views on my client, but that seems not the problem. If I do that I will lose my views and will have to rebuild. I have 9 views in Tasks that I would really not like to rebuild if possible.
Let me underscore, any client I connect to the Exchange Server (via Office 365) will indeed pull down the views up on Exchange. The reverse is not necessarily so. A view altered on the client does not always update the Exchange sever.
Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks.
Can someone please tell me why I am getting the below response in my email inbox (outlook 2010)? The senders are all reliable sources.

I'm trying to understand an issue that I've come across. A client is sending out a blast email with just text - no attachments. They get the following NDR:
#554-5.3.4 Content conversion limit(s) exceeded 554 5.3.4 STOREDRV.Submit.Exception:ConversionFailedException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Content conversion: Maximum number of body parts (250) per message exceeded ConversionFailedException: Content conversion: Maximum number of body parts (250) per message exceeded ##
I've scoured the internet trying to find a solution to no avail.
Since there are no attachments, I don't see how it can have too many body parts as the NDR suggests. Does the number of recipients impact the body parts count?
Any help in understanding this NDR will be much appreciated. Thanks.
My problem is started after Exchange 2013 CU12 update. Now user can log on with owa or outlook to exchange but it can't send or receive an email. I give an error over the owa "You don't have permission to perform this action." And when we try to sent an email it saved for draft. it is stacked draft folder.
I can sent email from external email servers to my exchange and I can see passing the email over firewall to the exchange. But mailbox user can't access the new emails
I did try somethings;
Add-MailboxPermission Jeff.Smith@contoso.com -User "NT AUTHORITY\SELF" -AccessRights FullAccess,ReadPermission
or
in active directory user and computer user security tab, checked include inheritable permissions
Didn't work both of above.
Our environment is simple; Active directory is a windows 2008 R2 server, Exchange 2013 is working on Windows 2012 r2.
we have one exchange server 2013ear all,
we are hosting multiple domains exchange .
we have one SSL Certificate applied to the Exchange server 2013.
webmail.domain.com
webmail.domain1.com
webmail.domain2.com
Our certificate only has a single name - webmail.domain.com and all virtual directories, our Service Connection Points (AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri) and Outlook Anywhere hostnames/URLs are all configured to use webmail.domain.com
the A records are creating on the hosting side to point all auto discover domain1/domain2 to the webmail.domain.com
on the Domain controller side, do we have to create a SRV records for each domain1 and domain 2 in order to get outlook users working and avoid the certificate error ?
