Outlook 2011 clients slow or delayed email

Hello,

I've been having this issue with Mac Outlook 2011 clients where they receive delayed email (from 10 minutes to 1 hour). It's a major inconvenience for the user. After doing some searching, I found a technet post with others having the same issue. A couple of users report that there is a fix, you have to call MS to get the hotfix KB2449266. But this fix is for Exchange 2010. Do you have one for Exchange 2013?

Search by last name in outlook GAL not working.

Hi Team,

Please help us with this issue.

In outlook 2013 users are not able to search other users from last name, so what setting we have to change at organization level so that we can enable that.

User are able to search using More column or advance find but when search normally using (name only ) not able to find users via last name.

what should we do to fix this for all users.

Outlook 365 Mail account Not Connecting to Server

Hi

I have been using neeraj@krsnahome.com on Microsoft outlook exchange server for last many months but for last one week I am unable to use my account neeraj@krsnahome.com on outlook.com, message pop up - " disconnected from server" . I have tried manual configuration also without success - ERR message coming " authentication failure".

I am able to directly work on your web-server without problem. Pls. help with resolution.

Hello, 

I have issue when sending email to some addresses. Server respond with:

Remote Server returned '550 5.1.0 RESOLVER.ADR.InvalidInSmtp; encapsulated INVALID address inside an SMTP address (IMCEAINVALID-)'

My enviroment: Exchange 2013, Outlook 2010 - no cached mode. Issue happend with two email addresses but not always.

Any suggestion, how to resolve issue?

public folders disappearing in Outlook 2013

Hello guys,

I got some issue with several Outlook 2013 clients for a couple of weeks.

I set up a new Exchange 2013 Server with Windows Server 2012 and manually exported and imported the .ost/.pst information from the clients. Everything working well so far.

Exchange has only to be available form the intranet and only has a local domain. Nothing hosted to the internet.

Overall I got about 40 Outlook 2013 clients, 5 Outlook 2010 clients, 40 Outlook 2013 clients and 2 Outlook 2016 clients.

So here is the issue:

Under Outlook 2013 the whole public folder list is disappearing randomly from a couple of the clients, not from every client! They keep in between 4 hours and 2 weeks, then they disappear and the Outlook client-connection monitor is not showing any connection to the public folder mailbox anymore. At the same time it is also not possible to see the meeting calender of other clients at the client where the public folder list disappeared.

Now I only can do two results, I can repair the account at the client and the public folder list reappears, but only for about 30 seconds.

The other result is to remove the account completely from the client and add it again, but then everything is starting from scratch.

Autodiscovery is possible and without any visual error. 

Anyone has a clue?

outlook cannot connect to exchange 2013 enterprise

Dears,

I have an issue while I am in process of migration from exchange 2010 to exchange 2013 server, everything works fine during the coexistence except outlook cannot connect to exchange 2013, but still connect to exchange 2010 CAS server

I have an exchange 2010 CAS array (excharray 172.20.0.95) and exchange 2013 Round Robin ( 172.20.0.26 and 172.20.0.27)

the DNS configuration is as follow:

excharray.mydomain.com     A      172.20.0.95   ( exchange2010)

exch1.mydomain.com      A    172.20.0.26         (exchange 2013)

exch2.mydomain.com    A      172.20.0.27         (exchange 2013)

mail.mydomain.com      A      172.20.0.95, 172.20.0.26, 172.20.0.27

autodiscover.mydomain.com    A     172.20.0.95, 172.20.0.26, 172.20.0.27

can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Every time I try to log into email through OWA this is what I get as well as all of my users. I have 15,000 users that use OWA every day. What is going on? I can access, send, and receive email through my outlook client and I can access ECP but nothing with OWA.

Users recieving 'something went wrong' in OWA and Outlook connection failing

Hi all, i have 4 mailbox servers each with 3 databases. All users who have mailboxes located on 1 of the servers are receiving the following error in OWA, and Outlook is unable to connect as well. Email seems to be working through Activesync.

Exchange 2013 CU7 POP3 unable to login

Hi together,

Exchange 2013 CU7.

I am unable to login using POP3.

In frontend (Outlook) and in POP log of the server you see:

-ERR Command is not valid in this state.

Eventlog shows warning 1018:The account „domain\user“ provided valid credentials but it doesn not have submit permission on smtp receive connector “Default Frontend server”; failing authentication.

telnet to port 110 returns the welcome screen of the configured Exchange server.

Any ideas?

Delete email in Outlook 2013 but still showing in Exchange 2010 SP3 OWA

Hi,

I have presently 2 users who are running Outlook 2013 having strange behavior such as when deleting email from Outlook 2013, the email still stay in OWA or the delete button is grey out.

I'm running Exchange SP3 RU11 and Outlook 2013 15.0.4763.100 on Windows 7 SP1 build 7601

Have anyone seen this problem?

Outlook 2016 Search Not Working

Hello,

I was directed from answers:

to here, this is the issue I am experiencing:


This has been intermittently happening to me since I upgraded to Office 2016 via my 365 subscription but the search functionality has always resumed working. Unfortunately since Monday of this week I've had no search capabilities and in this instance is seems to have no intention of returning.

Here's what I've attempted in order to resolve:

1) Rebuild of the index

    File - Options - Search - Indexing Options - Advanced Options - Rebuild

It tells me the index has completed after only a few seconds but still no search.

2) Removal / adding of MS Outlook as a location to index

    File - Options - Search - Indexing Options - Modify - Uncheck Outlook - OK

Then

    File - Options - Search - Indexing Options - Modify - Check Outlook - OK

3) Turn off then back on Cached Exchange Model

    File - Account Settings - Change Email Account uncheck box - Restart Outlook

Then

    File - Account Settings - Change Email Account Check box - Restart Outlook

4) Delete OST file from AppData, allowing Outlook to create a new one.

5) Delete Mail Profile, allowing Outlook to create a new one.

One step 5 everything seemed to be re-indexed with the process taking maybe an hour to complete but I still cannot search for items or use the Find Related searches from within the right-click menu.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I might try next.

Outlook 2013 create automaticly categories

hi, we have a big issue with Outlook 2013. We want use Categories with our CRM, but sometimes Outlook create automatically new Categories, why??? can i disable it? we works with Exchange 2013 in a cached mode...

where does Outlook store the categories? can i edit this file, for share it with other users? or can i control it over GPO?

Autodiscover SCP fails

Hello,

i have two Exchange 2013 in a DAG. Both go over an KEMP virtual Loadmaster with there virtual Directories and use the Maildomainname.

The Clients use Outlook 2013 on Windows 7.

I have set up Split DNS Entrys.

Internal clients use the the internal IP.

Some Clients Fails to get the SCP for Autodiscover. They try to reach https://external_domain_name/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml and reach a site of the Provider with an untrusted, end of lifetime and wrong named Certificate and Display the certificate warning wenn the user start Outlook the first time.

Ignore the warning Ends with full working Outlook.

How can i find out the problem of the Client to reach the scp in the AD?

To make it not to easy....not all Clients have this problem. No entrys in the Hosts, no gatewayproblem.

Any Idea or tool to analyse the "connection" problem?

Hello all,


A little history:

We provide outsourced support for a diverse group of clients. One of these clients uses an Exchange Server.

I have two accounts set up on my Outlook 2013 client; An Exchange account and a POP3 account.  The Exchange  account is not the default account as I only use it for sending and receiving emails as my role as administrator for     this particular client.  The POP3 account is my everyday business account that I use constantly.


I have been unable to determine why, but when I send an email to one certain person (completely unaffiliated with the client who uses Exchange) from the POP3 account, it ends up in the Exchange account  "Sent" folder.  I have confirmed that the header shows me as the author with my POP3 email address.  When comparing headers from this errant email to others that go to the correct folder, I can detect no differences.


Now that I know what is happening it isn't a huge deal, just an annoyance, but I would like to figure out why it happens.


Does anyone have any ideas?

IMAP Service Unhealthy - WARNING: No mailboxes were found to use in the CTP probe.

Hi there.

I have been getting alerts for this IMAP service advising it is unhealthy and I hope you can help.  running the get server health gives an error "WARNING: No mailboxes were found to use in the CTP probe."  can anyone advise on this as im not sure how to resolve.  we have only 1 mailbox needing to use IMAP.

Old Passwords still working after applying 'UserTokenTTL' Registry setting on cas servers~~~~~

Hello Everybody,

I am having 4 Exchange Servers, 2 Cas & 2 Mailbox, all with Exchange 2013 on WIndows Server 2012.

I have applied the registry setting from article "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/267568"  but still users who have changed their password from OWA are still able to login using old passwords.

I have rebooted the CAS servers twice. It is now 2 days gone, I applied registry setting but problem didnt resolved. AD replication is working fine.

Hi,

My Exchange environment is in coexistence with Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013. The Exchange 2010 is on single server with all roles (HUB/CAS/Mailbox) and Exchange 2013 CAS is on single server and Mailbox is also on separate server. I have one DC is on windows 2003 server with FSMO roles and ADC is on Server 2012 R2. The issue I am facing that Exchange OWA and Active Sync services stops and users are unable to login on OWA or not connect with Active Sync. Once I restart my ADC on server 2012 R2 the OWA and active sync services up and running. I could find the reason and this is  happening every 12 to 14 hours daily.

Kindly guide how to resolve this issue.

Users receiving multiple Meeting Invite responses using OWA.

We recently moved from an on-prem Exchange Server to being hosted in Office 365/SharePoint. Things have been going fine for the most part for the last few months, but we've recently had issues with users receiving multiple meeting responses. For one user in question the responses are going directly to his Deleted folder, and I've been unable to trace the message from the sender, where they do not show in his sent messages. I've read that this could be an issue with iOS as we do have many iPhones throughout the organization, but I have not found anything definitive about a cause or a solution. Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a solution?

Move to folder creates duplicate messages

I use Outlook 2013.  I am an Office365 for Education user. 

Every month, I create a new folder for the previous month, e.g. November, and I move my emails received in that month to that folder.  I select them all and either drag to the folder or use the Move command and select the folder from the dialog box.

For the last several months of doing this, it has created duplicates in that new folder.  Most emails are duplicated; at a certain datetime and newer, they are all doubled.  

Why is it creating duplicate emails when I move?  I would like this to stop. Even better, I would like to remove the existing duplicates in batch. Thanks.

Can connect to Exchange via Mail app and phone native client but not Outlook mobile client.

hi Guys,

we are facing issue where we are able to configure email on the native client on android mobile device but not able to configure the same email with outlook email client for the mobile device. As we all know outlook has updated to enrol exchange email as well.

your help will be appreciated.
