I have a shared mailbox setup months for 3 users using Outlook 2010 in cached mode. All have full rights to the shared mailbox. This was setup months ago without issue. Yesterday something occurred that has caused the Outlook clients to have synch issues
with the shared mailbox. For example:
One of the users deleted 200 emails from the shared mailbox. The other users see the mail message from their client. I added one of the user's mail profile to another machine to see if the message that were deleted would be downloaded locally. They were.
Quick click categories that are added to specific messages are not retained. They are there for a minute or so and then they disappear.
Flags that are added to specific messages are not retained. They also are there for a minute or minute or so and then they also disappear.
Messages that sent from the shared mail address are not retained in any Sent Folder. They are however routed out.
The client will sometimes display a message that states This item was not completely updated during the last server synchronization. Click here to review other versions.
There is a link to View local failures and it is there that you see the changes that were made to the Quick clicks and flags.
All was working 48 hours ago.
