I had a working solution Exchange 2013 + Lync2013 integrated in OWA.
I've installed SP1 for Exchange 2013 and now it doesn't work :(
I did the integration again
(added 2 strings in web.config:
<add key="IMCertificateThumbprint" value=".............."/>
<add key="IMServerName" value="Lync2012server.mydomain.com"/>)
but it doesn't help.
What changed in SP1? Why Lync integration doesn't work now?

Shared Mailbox send as in outlook 2013 stuck in delegate's outbox folder
I have Outlook 2013 connecting to Exchange 2013 in Online Mode and not cached mode. Using ECP, I have a user full access rights and send as rights to a shared mailbox. The user can see, delete, and read emails in the shared mailbox. When the user tries to send mail as the shared mailbox, the email is getting stuck in the user's outbox folder and never sends. Not even after manually clicking on send and receive. I also do not have the registry key DelegateSentItemsStyle
Any idea how I can fix this?
Anonymous Authentication Custom PRF File
Hi All,
I'll try to make this as simple as possible, I have customized a .prf file using the office customization tool, and made a .bat file that a user can click on, starts outlook and automatically imports the server settings.
My only issue is, with Exchange 2013, the "Logon network security" type needs to be Anonymous Authentication, and am not sure if it is even possible to set/change. I have opened the .prf file in notepad, but can't seem to find anything related.
Here is the .prf file for quick reference:

OAB download stuck on processing
Hello!
We have Exchange 2013 SP1 (Single server - MBX, CAS role).
We have problem with Offline Address Book and Outlook 2013 client.
Download is stuck on processing. Never complete. This is valid only for external (non domain) users. For internal it works without problems.
Outlook 2010 client display error 0x80200049.
Authenticated users have right read&execute rights on web.config.
Everything is OK with OAB.
I can download oab.xml with browser without problems.
OAB virtual directories are set to SSL required. Autodiscovery is working OK. We have set right external url for OAB virtual directory.
I don't know where to look at the problem.
Thanks for help in advance!
Cannot connect to OWA after Exchange 2007 SP3 and Rollup 13 install.
Hi,
Our OWA website isn't accessible after we installed SP3 and rollup update 13 for Exchange 2007. When we attempt to visit the OWA URL, all we receive is HTTP 403.4 SSL is required to view this resource. Doug
IE11 and Exchange 2010 automatic reply unavailable
After fixing the main problem with IE11 where it would only run OWA light it seemed we had it all under control, but...
Whether RollUp3 for SP3 caused this error or if there is another bug that this roll up did not fix I do not know but... When our students (or me for that matter) use IE11 to go to options and try to set the automatic reply we get a blank screen below the top bar with the three buttons. Using IE10 or Firefox does not cause any problems, just using IE11.
Any one know if this is a "known problem" Microsoft is working on? Our students are using the Dutch language in OWA in case that may be relevant.
ps. Sory for posting this in the Exchange 2013 forum, it seems the interface only alows me to select Exchange 2013 fora.
Exchange 2013 CU2 stop OWA + Lync 2013 integration
Good afternoon, was integrated with Exchange 2013 with Lync Server 2013 which could use the chat in OWA however after I installed Exchange 2013 CU2 this integration stopped working, i did the integration again and not working.
OWA is a message "There is a problem with instant messaging. Try again later. If the problem persists, please contact support."
Someone has experienced this or have any idea how to solve?

Exchange 2013/2010 Co-existance Outlook Users Always Prompted for Password
Hello,
We are in the process of attempting to migrate to Exchange 2013, but during the migration time, we need to coexist with the two versions. Our outlook clients are a mix of Office 2007, 2010, and 2013. When a user is migrated from 2010 to 2013, they start getting prompted for their password in Outlook every few minutes. They can click cancel and continue working, but they continue to get prompts for their password. If they click the update folder button in outlook, it updates fine, and the password prompt goes away for awhile.
Most topics on this state that this is caused by a certificate issue. We have an internally deployed CA, with the Root certificate trusted by all clients. The exchange 2013 server has a certificate that was created by this CA.
I believe that this is caused by OAB (address book) still being hosted on the Exchange 2010 server (with a self signed cert), that is causing the connection to fail. Is there anyway to test this without breaking outlook connections for the users that are on Exchange 2010? Or is there any other reason that this would occur?
Thanks for any assistance.
Exchange 2010 Enterprise – Online Archive not visible in Office 2013 Professional Plus and the Share mailbox.
Hi!
Outlook 2013 professional plus was working perfectly weeks ago, then out of nowhere new profiles doesn't have visible in Outlook the online archive and the shared mailboxes, however it shows up in OWA.
It was given full permission for those users with no results, online archive is enabled, profiles were already deleted and recriated.
The older profiles work perfectly.
We have the services ActiveSync, Autodiscover, Outlook Anywhere, OWA and they're all working with no errors.

DSN code 5.1.1 - User Unable to Send Mail to Specific Users
I have a user who was unable to deliver mail to a single specific user. He was receiving aDSN code 5.1.1 error. I followed the advice of this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn479208(v=exchg.150).aspx
Deleting him from auto complete individually did not fix the problem so we cleared the whole auto complete file. Now he is unable to send meeting requests to a different specific user. The error message we are getting is as follows:
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

Outlook Quick Steps with Categorize function - Exchange server public folders
Is it possible to categorize an e-mail with a Quick Step with the right step order?
I mean If want to do the following:
- copy to a public folder
- make it read
- mark it complete
- categorize it
It will categorize the e-mail first (like it has a higher priority) and both the actual e-mail and the copied one will be 'flagged' with the category.
Is it possible to modify the quick step that way to do the categorize function after the copy function, so the copied one will not be categorized, only the original one.
All the e-mails are in public folders, so I copy the e-mail from a public folder to another one. All the public folders are on Exchange servers.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Outlook RT not connecting to Exchange
Outlook RT will not connect to our Exchange Server. The W8 Mail app connects with no problem and have been using since the start. It cannot resolve the username and will not connect even though it asks for and accepts my Exchange password. I contacted Surface tech support and they were absolutely clueless. No help at all. Is there anything special that needs to be done on the MS Exchange side for Outlook for RT. We connect with iDevices and W8 Phones using Activesync with no issues. I realize this is a "Preview" release but you would think the tech support would at least propose some reasonable fix suggestions. The support person seemed to be looking on blogs for help while I sat on the phone...dissapointing.
Exchange 2013 - The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting message submissions because the service continues to consume more memory than the configured threshold
Noticed at about noon that no emails had been received all day.Began to investigate and found that the MS Exchange Transport service had been set to deny email submission because it was using too much memory on the server (91%). The error message makes me think that we may have been getting used by malware or something similar.“The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting message submissions because the service continues to consume more memory than the configured threshold.”
There are also several warning messages that list particular IP addresses and say that a connection from that IP was denied because there were already the maximum number of connections (20). From what I can tell, all of the IP addresses are from Taiwan. The time period for which some emails may be missing is from close of business yesterday ( 4/3/2014) through about 12:45 today (4/4/2014). From the time I spent reading and trying to figure out the error, I think we may need to readjust our throttling policies to prevent this from happening. The exchange server is currently running at 90%+ CPU and 50%+ memory usage the majority of the time, and I’m not sure how to fix it.
Also, I cannot get into EMS I get a access denied message from the destination computer. (Exchange server) I want to get into there to change the throttling policy back to default, since we disabled it.
The Error reads:
The WinRM client cannot process the request. The WinRM client tried to use Kerberos authentication mechanism, but the destination computer <Exchange> returned an 'access denied' error. Change the configuration to allow Kerberos authentication mechanism to be used or specify one of the authentication mechanism supported by the server. (How do I do this?) To use Kerberos, specify the local computer name as the remote destination. (I'm trying to use EMS while logged into the local Exchange server) Also verify that the client computer and the destination computer are joined to a domain. (Exchange is on our domain, and the computer trying to connect is the same computer) To use basic, specify the local computer name as the remote destination, specify Basic authentication and provide user mane and password. Possible authentication mechanisms reported by server.

I assumed control of this exchange system already in place and I do not have much experience with exchange 2013 or server 2012. I do know 2008, but that doesn't help very much in this situation.
Recent changes to the system:
About three days ago we switch our sessions policy to allow many more connections, and I believe this caused the issue. This is what I changed it to:
Made the registry DWORD (32-bit) "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User" and modified the value to 1000. Location of registry change @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
I just changed it to 10 from the 1000. I'm hoping this solves this. So far no.
Also, I am not the best in the shell or command line interfaces. Any help would be wonderful!
plain text owa using different font
We have 2 clustered exchange server running 2013 sp1.
As far as I can see/hear this problem started after the sp1 install.
We have custom font for the organisation (Arial 10)
The issue occurs when:
userA send an html email to a userB, then userB responds in plain text, then usera replies back in html.
In the last mail userB gets his text is in Arial 10. Rest of the previous mails are in Times New Roman 10.
Fonts settings for all the users in AD are:
DefaultFontName Arial
DefaultFontSize 2
Is there a way to get Arial 10 in the whole mail?

Exchange 2013 local and internet mail boxes.
Hello,
We have deployed exchange server 2013 under domain name, mydomain.com. The problem is that when we send a local email to, lets say user@mydomain.com (internal mailbox) , the mail is routed through the internet. Is there a way to make the internal mails routed inside the LAN ?
Thank you.
Outlook 2013 Issues with Connecting to Gmail Exchange

Error message below appears each time I try to set up the account:
The action cannot be completed. The connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
Occasionally it will set it up, then it reverts to 'Trying to Connect' .... maybe lasts a day working fine at the most.
Have attempted to use Outlook 2010 as never had issue when using this platform previously - also failed. Bigpond email as pop account is working fine.

Exchange 2013 cannot deliver mails
We purchased and installed an Exchange server 2013 and a domain name ''alaa.com''. Just before purchasing the domain name, we installed exchange, we kept almost everything in default setting and we added an MX INTERNAL Send Connector. We were able to send and receive internal mails. However, when we purchased the domain name and configured the MX record to point to mail.alaa.com the following happened:
1/ we can send external mails
2/ internal mails leave the Drafts folder but never delivered (sent but not received).
3/ Cannot receive mails sent from the internet. However we receive an email from postmaster@sst.com.tn that says this:
http://txt.do/138s
and sometimes this:
http://txt.do/138a
Please, this is urgent, We would really appreciate your help.
