I’m planning a migration from Exchange 2003 SBS to Microsoft 365. It will be a AD integrated migration with SSO and AD Sync. I believe I’ve found enough info online to do the migration; however, I’m not seeing much on the following:
- What configuration changes needs to happen on the users outlook profiles? Preferably, are there any DNS changes that can be made so no users outlook setting need to be reconfigured?
- Mobile device switch-over. Same as above, does every user need to re-config their mobile devices or is there a seamless way to address this?
- If users need to re-configure their mobile devices, is there one DNS address they all can use or is each user assigned a unique DNS address for mobile device connectivity (active sync) ?
- How does office 365 handle user quarantine notifications and how do I educate my users on that process?
- Is there a way to deploy the lync client through GPO or logon scripts ?
Any help is appreciated – or links to articles addressing these concerns.
