I am using Microsoft Outlook 2010, version 14, set up as an exchange account. Several months ago, I changed the name of one of the colors in "categories" (right click calendar item, select categories=>categorize=>all categories=>rename).
Since then, I have had a message in the bottom status bar in Outlook that says, "Renaming 'xxx' to 'yyy'" (where xxx and yyy are my category names). It doesn't hurt anything, but is a nuisance. We've since changed exchange servers, I have reinstalled
windows, readded the account, but the message remains. I assume it's somewhere on the exchange server and has carried over with the server update. Is there any way to fix this from the client side.
