I'm experiencing a weird issue in my Exchange 2013 environment where one of my users is sending emails to other employees that are encrypted and digitally signed by our in house CA. When they send the email users that use OWA as their only means for email are recieving an error message saying, "The S/MIME message wasn't decrypted successfully. The ASN.1 package couldn't be opened." Does anyone know if what this ASN.1 package is?
We have only experienced this from 1 sender so far but it affects multiple please that use OWA. If the email was sent to an OWA and an Outlook user the OWA user can't open it but the Outlook user can.
As far as I can tell all other encrypted and digitally signed emails are working as expected.
