Hi Board,
i´m struggling with an restore issúe, which i can´t get solved and found nothing searching round the board. The situation was: alias of one user was renamed as a result the user got a empty mailbox (the old mailbox was not in the disconnected Mailboxes) within our Exchange 2010 Environment.
an Restore was executed (from Backup Exec 2010R2) and reported as sucessfull. The Mailbox statistics showed about 4000Items and 1GB of size. Responded that the restore was successull but the affected user can´t confirm this. Still empty mailbox via Outlook and OWA.
Dammn - Session with the user - found out that the user had a german outlook and the language changed to english - started Outlook with /resetfoldernames Switch and folders were all in german again.
ReRun Restore - again successfull - Item Count and size doubled to 8000 / 2GB but the user is still unable to view his restored items, via Outook / OWA.
I´m stuck here - does anyone has a clue or idea to get the restores data viewable for the user?
