Exchange 2013 and Outlook for Mac sync issues on some databases.

Hi there, hoping someone can nudge me in the right direction with this one..

We are approaching the end of an Exchange 2007 to 2013 CU5 migration and we are seeing an issue popping up that seems to be mentioned elsewhere online with no concrete solution. Outlook for Mac is not syncing automatically and requires the user to manually click Send/Receive to get any mail. Strangely, I've discovered that this is only happening on three of my four 2013 databases, if I move a mailbox to the "good" database then Outlook for Mac starts working fine with emails coming through as usual.

All the databases were set up initially with identical settings.

OWA and Outlook for PC are both fine - Unfortunately I have about 250 Mac users here.

Running the EWS test from the Remote Connectivity Analyser on the "bad" databases fails on the notification section with "no notifications returned" so it's pointing to an EWS issue somewhere

There's nothing in the event logs to point to any issue.

Any ideas?

Ed
