Inbox delegation rights -- some issues

Hi,

I am having a couple of issues with Outlook 2013 that I need some advice on. After pouring through the help text and doing everything exactly as outlined, I am having trouble with delegate rights.

To make this short, I am a delegate for my boss' inbox. I need to be able to see all of her subfolders in order to define rules for her inbox, but as it is now I cannot see any of her subfolders. All I can see is her inbox, and even then I am having to go to File>Open>Other User's Folder every single time I need to go through her inbox (multiple times per day).

According to the help text, I should be able to set up Outlook in a fashion where my boss' inbox and related subfolders appear underneath my inbox and related subfolders. I have gotten to the point where I can see her name (her inboxes' name) underneath my inbox and related subfolders, but clicking on her name yields the following message -- "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found." This does not make any sense because I already have delegate rights to her inbox, and CAN see her inbox if I use File>Open>Other User's Folder.

That method is simply too convoluted to be advantageous, and it makes seeing any of her subfolders impossible. According to the help text what I am trying to do should be possible, but for whatever reason it is not working.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
