Can't add more accounts

I am trying to set up Outlook on a new Windows 8.1 laptop using Outlook 2013. I have 3 different email addresses I want to add. Originally, when I set it up, I entered all three addresses and had no problems. When I opened Outlook, though, only 2 of the addresses appeared. When I tried to add the third email again, it told me that "Additional Microsoft Exchange Server accounts cannot be added. The maximum number of Exchange accounts allowed has been reached. Click next to attempt configuring this account using POP3 or IMAP." When I click next, it searches for settings for several minutes and then says, "An encrypted connection to your mail server is not available. Click next to attempt using an unencrypted connection." After several more minutes, it tells me, "We are having trouble connecting to your account. Verify the settings below and make changes if necessary." But I entered the correct information, so I don't know what the problem is. Help would be appreciated.
