Hi,
I have an issue where a one user has been assigned Publishing Editor of another users mailbox. Since upgrading from Exchange 2010 to 2013 this appears to be behaving strangely.
Appointments can be created in the shared calendar, but they cannot be deleted. Interestingly the delete function places a copy of the appointment in the recycle bin, but does not remove the original.
Shift + delete throws up an error stating the item has been moved or deleted, similar to the DelegateWasteBasketStyle registry key, but this key is not present.
I've tried removing and re-adding the permissions, including the recycle bin. OWA is not able to delete the item either.
I've mirrored the permissions to isolate whether the issue lies with the delegate or the sharer, and by process of elimination it appears to be the delegate. What could stop a delegate deleting an item on any shared mailbox when they have the correct permissions?
