In our Exchange 2013 development environment we are testing an in house OWA mail app. In the course of testing we add the web app from a URL and not from the office store. Interestingly enough when we attempt to remove it the trashbin icon can never be selected. The mail app can be disabled but not deleted. I have tested this with other apps that I have added from a URL and cannot do this with any of them. I can however, remove mail apps I have installed from the Office Store.
I have tried this both as an administrator and as a regular user who has the account role added "My Custom Apps". The problem remains in both scenarios. I just wanted to see if anyone else had run into this issue and had a work around or information on what I am missing.
