Hello all,

Current we have a new Exchange 2013 server, V15, 15.0.847.32, SP1 with Public Folders enabled.

Our Outlook 2007 clients can connect to the Public Folder via autodiscover, and users can view and modify the contents of the Public Folder.

However, Outlook 2013 clients, while being able to connect to the autodiscover service, can not connect to the Public Folder at all.  The Public Folder will not show up in Folder View, and there are no error messages regarding Outlook 2013 being unable to connect.

Both the 2007 and 2013 Outlook clients are installed with the latest updates, and so is our Exchange 2013 server.

I've hit a wall here, as I have little clue as to why Outlook 2013 will not even see the Public Folder.  So, any help will be appreciated.

I have one Exchange 2007 server. I want to migrate Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 so I install Exchange 2013 my Exchange 2007 environment. I migrate some mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 server, when I access Exchange 2013 hosted mailbox from Exchange 2007 OWA the request didn't forward to Exchange 2013 server. It forward to this page:

When I click this link then my request goes to Exchange 2013 OWA page,

But when I access Exchange 2007 hosted mailbox from Exchange 2013 OWA no problem at all.

My Exchange server information is below:

a) Exchange 2007 server name: ex2k7.test.com (CAS, HUB, MBX in one box)

b) Exchange 2013 server name: ex2k13.test.com (CAS, MBX in one box)

My question is why ex2k7 OWA request not directly redirect to ex2k13 server?

Please help urgent.

Good morning, all!

Just a quick confirmation that I can send back to the company owner: there's no Javascript or Java or anything like that in OWA, right?

He claims to get a Javascript error when using OWA - I haven't actually seen the error, so I can't absolutely vouch for it.

Just checking.....

Hello. I have a few users with android smartphones, they sync phone but does not sync all contacts . for example sometimes sync 100contacts they delete and sync again appears 250 but they have 750 .

Hi all!

One user has created a new calendar in his Outlook 2013 (right click --> "New Calendar").
And he has also his own mailbox-calendar.

Now he made some entries in his private calendar, which he has created manually and he told us that he can't see the items in the scheduling assistant. Only his main calender (from his Mailbox) is available in the scheduling assistant.

I have tested it on a client and it's not possible to see the private calendar in the scheduling assistant

So I think, that the scheduling assistant has only access to the main calender (of the mailbox) and not to the other calendars which are manually created.

Is that correct?

Mailbox is working and can be seen in OWA.

Can not log into EAC - get error 500 after login.
Hav tried /ecp?ExchClientVer=15.1.
But it is still the same

I have tried to reinstall but this do not help.
I have tried a uninstall, but here I get a message saying there are still mailboxes on the server.

Any good ideas?

lately we have implemented a new exchange server 2013 CU10 for our customers, however we are facing one issue we can't get the redirection to work,

the https and http are allowed from the WAN,

please help and put me on the right direction to get this fixed.

Hi Guys,

on the office production we use the exchange 2013 using a pop 3 connector,

we pick up the emails using pop 3 connector and we send with the ISP smarthost,

Our Domain registra is having a lot of issue lately with their security,

our aim is we create a mx record and make sure that our mail will be routed to our exchange directly.

Also our users will have a webmail.domain.com to access their emails in no office computers.

what records do I need to create in our Domain controller ?

what records do I need to create in our DNS of the registra ?

Hello , 

I am using outlook calendar 2010. My boss shared his calendar with me for work purposes. My question is : whenever I am updating his calendar he gets notification messages in his inbox. Is there  any option would stop sending these notifications after I make any changes ?

Hi,

I have presently 2 users who are running Outlook 2013 having strange behavior such as when deleting email from Outlook 2013, the email still stay in OWA or the delete button is grey out.

I'm running Exchange SP3 RU11 and Outlook 2013 15.0.4763.100 on Windows 7 SP1 build 7601

Have anyone seen this problem?

Starting a few days ago, I experience long delays (30 minutes+) in sending email from my Microsoft Exhange account through Outlook 2016. The emails stay stuck in the outgoing mail folder. No error message appears, the emails just do not go out for a long time.

When I log-in to portal.microsoft.com and send the email through the web-based application, it works just fine.

All incoming emails and outgoing emails through my other accounts work fine as well.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Hi

I have been using neeraj@krsnahome.com on Microsoft outlook exchange server for last many months but for last one week I am unable to use my account neeraj@krsnahome.com on outlook.com, message pop up - " disconnected from server" . I have tried manual configuration also without success - ERR message coming " authentication failure".

I am able to directly work on your web-server without problem. Pls. help with resolution.

Online Archive folder can't be opened after migration from Exchaneg 2010 to Exchange 2013.

Windows8.1 MS office 2013, Exchange 2013, Online mode

error: Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Microsoft Exchange is not available. Either there are network problems or the Exchange server is down for maintenance.

Is there any solution about this issue?

Hello All.

Here is a strange one that I've never come across before. I have an end user that has a few email in her inbox that have become draft emails. They are not her draft email but the senders draft emails. So if you open the email to reply, the 'From' box is the sender and in the 'To' field is my users address!

Any ideas?

Hi Team,

we have one user his free busy information is not visible for next year though user have many meetings appointments already scheduled. All we can see is grayed out free busy for those months.

we have only single user facing issue issue with calendar.

we have tried creating new outlook profile

we have took full access of users machine and checked calander

Ran calcheck - no error

But unable to identify root cause why no one is able to see his calender's free busy for next year.

Please assist

Hello , I've imported in pst file but failed. i used this command,

New-MailboxImportRequest user -FilePath \\srver\PST\pstdata.pst -BadItemLimit 25

Now I would Like to increase baditemlimit but i don't know if I run again if duplicate what I already imported.

Hi

I have some problems with Exchange 2013, but first you will need to know how this happened:
About two months ago, I setup an Exchange server (2013 SP1 on Server 2012 R2 box, virtualized on ESXi 5.0). Everything was working fine till some days ago, at time which I decided to install Web Remote Management role on this server (Yes! I know I shouldn't have done this, but I didn't know anything about its side-effects). After enabling that role, the entire Exchange service went done. I resolved it by removing that role, but only Outlook connectivity was restored. ECP, OWA, PowerShell and any other services based on IIS didn't came back up. Atfer many hours of work on IIS, I could bring back ECP and PowerShell up. My work inlcuded reseting all virtual directories (on Default Website) and playing around with certificates.
Now, the problems I have:
1. Yesterday, suddenly some clients lost their Outlook connectivity, reporting that it says: "Trying to connect ..." and after some time: "Disconnected". This problem propagated to the entire company yesterday and today and all clients faced this problem. The only solution we found to this was to remove/repair accounts, including manual setup of accounts. Outlook AutoDiscover doesn't work at all. At 3rd step on setup, it says "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable." and asks for server and mailbox address. We have to setup Exchange account manually and enter IP address of server and mailbox address (It even doesn't work with FQDN, though DNS lookup on the same client and at the same time results in successful resolution of FQDN to IP). The strange part is that after setting up account, if I right-click Outlook account in system tray while hodling CTRL key, and then choose "Test E-mail AutoConfiguration...", everything works fine there and tests state that AutoDiscover works!
2. In random times, Outlook asks clients for their Windows credentials. I don't know why, as before this it never did so.
3. When entering ECP, I face HTTP Error 404 (IIS error page), titled "Server Error in '/ecp' Application." saying that "Requested URL: /ecp/login.aspx" not found. But when I clear everything after "/ecp/" from the URL appearing in the address bar (https://exchange.golbarg.local/ecp/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fecp%2f) and hit enter, ECP opens successfuly and works fine.
4. A problem similar to 3 appears when entering OWA. A page saying "404 can't find page :-(" appears (Outlook error page which is different from IIS one). Again, clearing everything after "/owa/" from address (https://exchange.golbarg.local/owa/auth/errorFE.aspx?httpCode=404#ReturnUrl=/owa/?bO=1&bO=1) gives OWA working fine.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi

Can any body please advise if there are any known issues with Exchange 2013 permissions Inheritance? We are using the following script 'Get-MailboxDatabase | Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited | Add-MailboxPermission -user "USER" -AccessRights FullAccess -InheritanceType All' to add permissions at the mailbox DB level but when new mailboxes are added, should the new mailbox have the permissions or not? We are seeing that we have to run the above script each time a new mailbox is created.

I have one computer that can't connect to the Exchange Server via Outlook through the VPN. I have another PC that connects just fine all while working from home.

I have used Outlook 2013 and 2016 both are telling me the same thing. When I start to create a profile it hangs at "Searching for MY EMAIL settings".

I don't have this issue one my laptop it just connects.

I've even logged into the OWA to see if it would cache the settings.

What am I doing wrong?
