I have an Exchange 2007 server in a child domain. When I log into OWA directly from the Exchange 2007 server and create a new message and click on TO: I get the following error. "Could not connect to a directory server. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization." I have a 2008 R2 DC that this server should is talking to and is listed in the error below. This is only a child domain in a much larger forest and I do not have access to the other Exchange servers/DC's
This is also part of the error.
Exception
Exception type: Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADInvalidHandleCookieException
Exception message: Active Directory operation failed on PSOLUS200.domain.com. Additional information: Active Directory rejected paged search cookie because a cookie handle was discarded by a domain controller or a different LDAP connection was used on subsequent
page retrieval. Restart paged search. Additional information: The parameter is incorrect. Active directory response: 00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C090753, comment: Error processing control, data 0, v1db1.
I can ping the DC and vice versa. The Exchange 2007 servers are running Version 8.3 (Build 83.6). I would like to upgrade this particular Exchange server to the latest rollup but I do not know if I can do that if there are other Exchange servers with the older version.
