I recently upgraded from Office 2010 to 2013 and am having major problems with my email. A lot of good mail is going to junk. I deleted all rules that sent mail to junk and switched to the lowest setting (No automatic filtering). I also deleted all blocked senders. Therefore, shouldn't the junk folder stay empty?
It doesn't. It accumulates mail, some of which is actually junk, but much of which is from safe senders. (Yes, I've checked the safe senders list.) Also, I am diligently scanning the junk folder and emptying it at least once a day. Yet old mail (from safe
senders) keeps showing up the next day.
I'm at a loss, as is our technology manager. He is also on our exchange system and is not having this problem. He can't find any settings on the server that could be causing this problem. I can't find any settings at my end, either. This is happening in my Webmail, too.
A consultant suggested I install Spam Fighter and rely on the instead. Today when I signed on, there were 137 messages in the junk folder, over half of them not really junk. There were also 405 messages in Spam Fighter, all of them junk.
