A customer has migrated to Exchange Online. The Exchange server is still there with its mailboxes. Autodiscovery (and such?) has been disabled in the local environment. I need to get access to a couple of these mailboxes with Outlook to check a few emails.
What I primarly do, is create a new Outlook account, and point it to the local server (on LAN, with .local domain). But even though I do this, and provide the local AD account name and password, and even though all this is accepted, I still end up either failing or connecting to Exchange Online (where the username and password is different, but where the email is the same).
How can I "fool" my Outlook to connect to this old mailbox temporarily?
ETA: The customer hasn't got a backup system that allows me to restore one mailbox and so forth.
