My Outlook 2010 w/Win 7 64-bit has become useless.
It will not take the password for my www.att.yahoo.net account (it is the correct password I keep entering). It keeps popping up to ask for my password and "ok" it, which I do. I even deleted the offending account and re-added it into Outlook. This often solves this issue.
Email is now not working on my IPhone (my backup email system), which asks me to verify my password by logging into my account (which my Iphone seems to ignore when I do that).
ATT Internet help showed that the problem is isolated to my PC and is a PC problem.
I applied the fix that was referred to in one of the threads "Delete the two copies of MS Update: KB2553248". This might help with exchange server issues, but does not seem to do anything for my problem.
I urgently need this fixed as I do business on my laptop and running out and buying new a new laptop (done by some folks according to the forum).
What can I do to fix this problem?
