MAPI on non-domain joint client computer

Hi, expert

I'm trying to configure a non-domain joint client host to use MAPI to connect to the exchange server (both are in the same subnet) with a domain user account.

For my understanding, as long as there are no firewall sitting in between which is blocking the RPC ports, it should work. But for somehow, I can only use this setup to initialize the Outlook profile, and after Outlook is launched, it will try to connect to the exchange server but fails at the end.
