As the title suggests : Outlook 2013 and Hotmail error on sending.
I have set up my profile quite happily and the wizard completes successfully. Outlook downloads my folder structures and emails. However, I cannot get past the send and recieve error:
"sending reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object cannot be found'"
Most articles seem to refer to older versions of OUtlook and the address book. However, as this is a hotmail account the only addresses stored are in my contacts, so this is not the same thing.
I have tried Outlook in safe mode the issue still remains.
I have disabled my avast virus scan for emails being sent, and also tried disabling the entire mail filter the issue still remains.
I have disabled all add-ins in Outlook the issue still remains.
I have also recreated profles, and tried Exchange ActiveSync with the server: m.hotmail.com and the more simple method Auto account set up the issue still remains.
I am disappointed, I was happily on Outlook 2007 with the connector. Since that changed I have tried to find a sensible way to use hotmail, and eventually opted for office prof 2013, which has just added to my woes. I fail to understand how MS can take a strategy that causes the uses of two major products so much trouble.
I also reinstalled Win7 recently and have been through all the auto updates and am on SP1.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks
Mark
