I am not sure when this appeared but I believe it was when we migrated users from exchange 2010 to 2013. We have users that show multiple contact groups in Outlook, they just say "Contacts" like the default one but the users aren't creating these,
they just appear. The problem is the Contact group that has their contacts is not the default one so it doesn't sync to devices, and doesn't show (by default) in the new email address list. I can move all the contacts to the default one and that fixes
it but I'd like to find a way to fix it for everyone and know why its happening.
