I am running PCI PAN scans (looks for credit cards, social security, drivers licenses) for compliance. It has found emails in a few users' Outlook email files (ost). We go looking for those emails and can't find them. Part of the issue here is that each person has several mailboxes loaded into their ost file (customer service and backing up people who are out of the office).
I found a tool Kernel OST Viewer that helps some but doesn't have the option to delete the emails that I do find.
One of the other people I worked with found that by pressing the window key and start typing information found in the email, that it would sometimes find the offending email.
So I need some way of easily finding offending emails and deleting them so that I can pass the PCI PAN scans.
Please remember that a solution has to be able to cross all the email boxes that are loaded onto individual machines and that some people have (in the GB range) large mailboxes (just their own).
