I'm attempting to access a calendar that was shared with me in Outlook on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S4). I can view/edit the shared calendarwithout any issues in Outlook; I've noticed, however, that if I view the Properties for that calendar in Outlook, the "Location" is blank (whereas the Location for MY calendar and any other calendar I create myself is \\(my email address). If I try to Move or Copy that shared calendar to another location, I receive the error "The attempted operation failed. An object could not be found." I believe this is the reason I cannot view it on my phone.
Does anyone know where shared calendars that you yourself didn't create are stored? As I mentioned, I can go in and create a calendar called "Test" which will appear under My Calendars with the location \\(my email address)\Calendar. "Test" will then appear as an available calendar to view/sync on my phone. So this only appears to be an issue for calendars that I myself didn't create.
A couple other notes:
- I am using Touchdown for my corporate email/calendar. I did try the Galaxy S4 native Calendar app and found that I was also unable to bring up the shared calendar (which is why I believe that it is an issue within Outlook and not the phone).
- My email account is configured as a Microsoft Exchange account.
- The individual who created the calendar shared it by right-clicking the calendar in the Outlook Calendar view and selecting Share -> Share Calendar. This sent an email invitation to me that, once accepted, allowed for me to view/edit that calendar.
Any help would be appreciated!
