I apologize if this is the wrong forum as we are running Exchange 2010 and not 2013, but this link was suggested to me and I couldn't find a similar one for 2010.
Here is my dilemma:
I have a user at my company who recently had many tasks disappear from her account. We found them when we went to Recover Deleted Items, and once they are recovered, she is unable to open them from within the Outlook client. If she double-clicks
on it, nothing happens. No error message pops up, but no window opens. I turned on the preview pane and when clicking on the recovered task, she receives the following message in the preview pane:
This item cannot be displayed in the reading pane. Open the item to read its contents.
I had her login via Outlook's Web Access, and she can open it fine there, but it won't open within the client.
Any ideas or suggestions as to what could be the problem and how to open it in the Outlook client?
