One of my users has approximately 8,000 contacts and he wants to use a "Safe List Only" approach in Outlook where only email from people in his Safe Senders list appear in his inbox. However, he would like to include all his contacts in this
list as well. If we check the box to "Also trust e-mail from my Contacts" we are unable to save the changes due to an unspecified error. I am guessing it is due to the rule size limit and all his contacts are being added to his rules.
Right now my user is fighting with junk mail constantly and email from people in his contacts are ending up in his junk. If he marks these people as a safe sender the message gets moved to his inbox but 8/10 times the message automatically moves back to his junk mail. I have never seen this before.
Can anyone provide a solution to this? This user simply wants all of his contacts to be treated as safe 100% of the time. We are using Office 365 / Exchange Online with FOPE and Outlook 2013 from Office 365 subscription.
