hello, let me first start by saying I am NOT an expert with computers, I know some basics but thats about it, so please any answers please respond at as basic a level as possible. infact I am not even sure whether I have exchange 2013 or older so please bear with me.

heres the issue. I have a customer who has a charter business email account. she got a new phone and wanted to sync her business email account to go to the phone. Initial attempts failed. I ended up calling charter for her as she is even worse when it comes to technology than I and was walked through the process step by step. The end result was he changed the password and gave me the proper "server name, username, SMTP server name to have entered in my phone. The phone worked fine I was getting emails. I tried getting onto the program outlook where she uses daily as her email access point and the login prompt popped up, I typed in the new password and it failed to log in, the login prompt keeps popping up repeatedly. when it finally does close my mil box and folders all show up as IF im signed in, but I get no new emails or anything like that. I go online to exchange.whatever/owa and all the information I was given by the charter guy is put in, logs in just fine, NO issues EXCEPT that in my folders are emails from 2011 when I know I put some emails in folders on the outlook program January 8th of this year so WHY doesn't the program outlook work, and HOW can I get it to work. all that was changed essentially was the password. Prior to him changing the password to my account the email worked on outlook. please help my business is essentially run with my customers email.

on a side note... IF I remember correctly and don't quote me on THIS but every once in awhile I get a different prompt pop up saying authentication failed.... again don't quote me on THAT being what it said. im not over there right now and during this nearly 2 hour phone conversation wth charter there was a lot of different error messages to pop up before we finally got the email to work on 2 of the 3.
