Hello,
I have some issues with Exchange 2013 outlook Anywhere function.
Following is configured:
1. purchased a valid CA for the domain name that outlook anywhere and ActiveSync users will use
2. configured external domain on Exchange ECP on all Virtual directories and on Outlook Anywhere
same domain name is used (as mentioned above I have purchased a valid CA for this domain)
3. port 443 is opened on the Firewall against this server
so, I have created an user, tested his OWA (https://mydomain/owa) and user logged inn successfully then I run this url just to be sure that outlook anywhere is enabled: https://mydomain/rpc and I got the log-in window so I used users login credentials and I
was able to log- on to rpc via MSIE...
After I have configured and tested what I mentioned above, I should configure Outlook Anywhere on one of the client PC`s, however when I configured the outlook anywhere I got the LOGIN window but after I typed user and pass I got the message:
"The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange
is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"
so as You can see I got the login window and typed correct user and pass for this user but I was not able to log on to exchange server even is the OWA and RPC is working trough MSIE when I tested it..
I have configured Proxy settings, msstd:mydomain etc... as I have configured outlook anywhere 1000 times before against the Exchange 2010, but I am having a problems on Exchange 2013..
Can someone please help ? something I missed ?
BTW: Local DNS server which is running on the same server where the exchange and AD are running is also configured with this new domain name which I have purchased CA for.. this domain points to the internal ip address of the exchange server...
Any ideas ?
