I originally posted this in the Outlook portion of the answers.microsoft.com website and was told my issue might be resolved here.
I have an exchange account and use Outlook 2013. When I search, I select the "Current Mailbox" option (note: the "All Outlook Items" has never seemed to work - doesn't stop searching). When I do the current mailbox search, results appear fine and I can even get more results when I click the "show more results" option.
My problem is getting information on where the emails are located. The search results only show the email, no folder location or anything. This is important to know because like a lot of people, I have many folders. So when I search for something, I would like to know if it's in the proper folder. But I'm not getting this information in the search. Is there a way to get this info? Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas?
Thank you!
Brian
PS. This happens on both Win 7 and 8 machines, if that matters
