Hello,
I would like to ask for help.
we are migrating from EX2010 to EX2013, current phase is mailbox move.
before migration, I've asked users to upgrade Office Outlook to supported version. some users upgraded their Office 2010 to Office 2013. so far, it seems that these upgraded ones have following issue:
after successful move, Outlook ask for restart
they restart Outlook, but Outlook is left in disconnected status
they wait even hours, no change. Users are in different AD site than Exchange servers.
we tried to Repair profile, but it does not help.
the only solution so far is re-creation of new profile.
What we tested:
Autodiscover works (using SRV records)
Test Exchange Autodiscover works too (obvious as new profile creation works without issue)
Connectivity analyzer shows that everything is OK
it is not about Kerberos ticket size, as we increased it already
it is not about AD replication, as DCDIAG shows no issues and replication is forced.
users with Outlook 2010 work without issue
Users with clean installation of Office 2013 are not affected, so it seems to be only for users who did upgrade.
there are about 1000 users to migrate, in average about 40% of them did such upgrade so we stopped mailbox moving to find solution how to automatize it (we can force new profile creation via scripts, just we would like to find easier way or to make profile repair work).
thanks for any ideas / hints what to check to make it more user friendly ...
Peter
