OWA interaction with Active Directory

Good Day Forum,

I am trying to find a solution for a situation. Our organization has implemented 45 lockout rule for inactivity on accounts. This organization has over 68K+ users and 30% of those users would/could be impacted by the lockout rule (e.g., deployed units, reservists, etc.)

We are running a script in Active Directory that will lockout any account that has not been accessed in 45 days. To reduce the impact to users, I was wondering if there is any possible solution that would allow the use of OWA to reset the Active Directory access clock?

Any information regarding a solution or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Duane
