I hav exchange 2010 with sp2 update rollup6. i have a requirement to configure IMAP support in exchange because only one mailbox needs to be configured as IMAP in oracle ERP. unfortunately there is only one option of IMAP in oracle ERP work flow.
i have already started the service s on exchange cas, mailbox feature IMAP is enabled for the user ID. while configuring the mailbox in outlook 2010 for testing purpose it always failed. While i test the account settings.
I am able to login to incoming mail server (IMAP) completed but send test email message failed. while checking the details of the error it says:
Send test email message: you outgoing (SMTP) mail server has reported an internal error. if you continue to recieve this message, please contact server administrator.
I also check one more thing, when i logged on to OWA for these users and clicked on mail > options: Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access...
it is all blank.
