I have a small set of users who use a generic account to logon to their computers. We then configure outlook to connect to their appropriate mailbox. It was working perfectly in Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010. Over the summer we migrated to Exchange 2013 and now it gives us some odd errors when we try to set this up.
We get errors such as: Cannot start outlook. Cannot open outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your Outlook data file (.ost)
I have checked the permissions on the box and they are set just as they were in Exchange 2010. I have even gone back and removed the permissions, then re-applied the permissions. No change. I have looked at several articles surrounding this issue, but none of their proposed fixes have worked.
Any other thoughts out there?
