I have a "user" level account I use for Exchange troubleshooting. I have had my Exchange 2010 servers up for a long time, there are no legacy servers and HUB,CAS and Mailbox roles are on both servers, one is a "secondary" with the Database Avalibility Group databases on it.
With this account, I can log into a domain computer with no issues. But I can't login into either server's OWA or ECP. I get the bad password prompt and the only error on the Exchange servers is the Security Audit Failure: "Unknown username or bad password," which is flat not true.
As far as I know, this user is the only one having login issues. One time in the past a new user (without "change password on login" checked, BTW) could not login and since it was a new account, I deleted that account and creted a new account and that user was able to login just fine from there on.
For this user account, "Include ineritable permissions from this object's parent" *is* checked, so that isn't the problem.
Any suggestions?
