i'm in proces of migration from exch2010 to exch2013 and have both servers in organization (2 cas ex2010, 2 cas ex2013).
question is how outlook determine which autodiscover configuration to take, and how outlook determine if it is connected from outside or inside?
1.when i setup OA internal authentication method to ntlm, and external to basic, i have outlook prompt for credidentials, even if accessing from inside. when i setup external authentication to ntlm, there is no password prompt. So my guess is that outlook always "think" it is external.
2.when i test email configuration from outlook, response is like this:
protocol: Exchnage HTTP
server: ex2013(new server)
OOAurl: exch2010(older server)
OABurl: exch2010(old server)
So my guess is that exchnage is mixing old and new enviroment.
Did someone had similar problem, and how was it solved?
