I am trying to figure this out. I have an OWA Mailbox policy with no blocked file extensions in my test lab and allow/force save has everything. When an excel file contain a macro is received and I am able to open in Outlook 2010 but not in OWA. I am currently running Exchange 2010 SP2 RU3.
The message when opening the file in OWA and it will launch excel 2010 is "This attachment was removed because it contains data that could pose a security risk".
I have changed all the settings that I can think of and unable to resolve this issue. I have also turned off everything in excel for macros and vba related but it did not resolve the issue.
I am just scratching my head on this matter.
