Assigning Wild Card certificate failed in exchange 2010 SP2

Hi

we have just procured a Geotrust true business wild card certificate for our exchange 2010 sp2.

we are getting errors when we try to assign services pop and imap, iis service assigns easily.

we get below error when we assign pop and imap

WARNING: This certificate with thumbprint A0CG5979DAD4073CAD586A904B4D05B60D433E0F and subject '*.wicky.ac.in' cannot
used for POP SSL/TLS connections because the subject is not a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Use command
Set-POPSettings to set X509CertificateName to the FQDN of the service.

we have fqdn of pop as pop.wicky.ac.in and for imap as imap.wicky.ac.in

pls reply if any one has solution. i have gone through so many documents but not find answer.
