Hello..
We use Exchange 2013 and Outlook 2010/2013.
Exchange is set for Outlook Anywhere right this:
ExternalHostname: external.company.com
InternalHostname: internal.company.local
ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod: Basic
InternalClientAuthenticationMethod: Negotiate
IISAuthenticationMethods: {Basic, Negotiate}
We use Basic Auth for external Outlook Anywhere access because TMG is not domain-joined.
Connection from External is OK.
But Outlook in internal networks asking username and password,
immediately after Outlook starts. Just cancel prompting window and Outlook connect to Exchange server normally. Look at Outlook Conection Status it seems Outlook wants connect to external hostname too (not resolved by internal DNS) ... and ask for credentials Is this by design? Thanks Karol |
