Outlook 2007, Exchange 2007, Windows 7.
One of our users is experiencing a random problem. In some of the emails that he receives, he doesn't see the usual prompt to "right-click to download pictures." At the same time, he can open another email and the prompt IS there. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it that I can detect.
The emails in which this occurs is random. They're not all from the same sender. Closing/reopening Outllook or restarting his PC doesn't resolve the issue. I've had him forward the affected messages to me and I had no problem with them - the prompt to download was there as expected.
I checked in his Outlook temporary file location but there was nothing there. It's not a proxy issue either (as perhttp://www.slipstick.com/problems/red-xs-in-email/) This was the closest thing I could find to his particular problem. Most people are just missing that option entirely; he seems to be unique in that he has it in some emails but not others.
