Hello,
Several years ago I've setup my Exchange 2007 with an ssl certificate that is set to expire in 2013. Also autodiscovery was setup and worked just fine until yesterday. A few users now get a window with the following message when they start their Outlook 2010 client : The certificate is not valid. This is not a trusted site.
The windows allows me to view the certificate. There is says "The integrity of this certificate cannot be guaranteed. The certificate may be corrupted or may have been altered". It offers me the choice to install the certificate, but this doesn't make the message go away.
Simply hitting the ok button on the message makes it dissappear, but after a while it pops up again. After clicking ok Outlook works just fine : sending and receiving mail is not a problem.
I've rechecked the Exchange configuration, certificate, IIS and autodiscovery settings, and they look fine to me. Only three users get this message, the rest of the staff is not experiencing this problem.
How should I troubleshoot this problem ?
thanks
Regards,
Joeri
