Scenario:
User creates a new meeting invite and invites another internal recipient to the meeting. When they send the invite, the recipient receives a meeting invite with the correct date and time. The sender does not see the invite they just sent in their calendar in the proper date and time. They instead, see the invite in their calendar ALWAYS on January 18<sup>th</sup> 2016 @ 15:00 PST. (User is in PST time zone). Send items shows correct date and time invite was sent.
This is only occurring for one user.
When does this occur?
This occurs only when the following is true:
- From Windows 10 Enterprise (tested on v1607 LTSB, 1803 CB) or from a 2016 Terminal Server (v1607) when Outlook is in Online mode
When does this not occur?
This does not occur when the following is true:
- From any OS (Win 7, Win 10 any build, 2012r2, 2016) when Outlook is in cached mode
- From Win 7 or 2012r2 Terminal Server when Outlook is in online mode
- From OWA of an Exchange 2013 environment.
Exchange / Office Environment
- Exchange environment is a standard two site, two nodes per site mixed mode (CAS, Transport, Mailbox on all servers) environment.
- Exchange 2013 cu22 (soon to be updated to cu23)
- CAS servers for OWA are accessed directly, there are no other appliances in between the connection
- MAPI has been enabled and running for a few years
- Office version on all machines is 2016 (16.0.4549.1000) 32-bit
What has been done?
- Verified time is correct from any workstation / server testing was performed
- Outlook.exe /cleanroamedprefs has been run from users workstation
- Verified Calendar repair services is running on all servers and all mailboxes
- Moved mailbox from one database to another and retested
Summary
- This is only happening for one user in our environment.
- It only happens from a Win 10 / 2016 Term server when Outlook is in Online Mode
- Does NOT happen in OWA
